Lift Conductor LLC ("LiftConductor," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to handling information responsibly, transparently, and in ways appropriate to the services we provide.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you:

  • visit LiftConductor.com or other websites operated by LiftConductor; 

  • use the LiftConductor platform and related services; 

  • visit or interact with LiftWorkshop; 

  • subscribe to email communications; 

  • submit inquiries, comments, thoughts, or reflections; 

  • request information, contact us, or request a demonstration; or 

  • otherwise interact with LiftConductor. 

Our approach to privacy is straightforward: collect information for legitimate purposes, use it responsibly, protect it appropriately, and avoid collecting information we do not reasonably need.

We do not sell personal information.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with LiftConductor.

Information You Provide:

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • name; 

  • email address; 

  • telephone number; 

  • job title; 

  • company or organization; 

  • account information; 

  • communications with us; 

  • requests for information or demonstrations; 

  • email subscription information; 

  • comments, questions, thoughts, or reflections submitted to LiftWorkshop; and 

  • other information you choose to provide. 

Customer and Platform Information

Customers using the LiftConductor platform may provide information such as:

  • organization information; 

  • test and experimental designs; 

  • store, location, market, or operating-unit information; 

  • performance and KPI data; 

  • test and control assignments; 

  • analytical inputs and results; 

  • supporting documentation; and 

  • other information submitted through the Service. 

Customers retain ownership of the data they provide to LiftConductor as described below.

Website and Usage Information

When you visit our websites or use our services, we may collect information about your interaction with them, including:

  • pages viewed; 

  • links or features used; 

  • referring pages or websites; 

  • approximate geographic information; 

  • date and time of visits; 

  • session activity; 

  • browser type; 

  • device type; 

  • operating system; 

  • IP address; and 

  • diagnostic and technical information. 

We may also collect information about how visitors interact with pages – such as clicks, scrolling, navigation, and similar website interactions – for purposes such as understanding site usability and improving our services.

LiftWorkshop Interactions

LiftWorkshop may allow visitors to interact with content through features such as likes, reactions, sharing, subscriptions, or similar functionality.

We may collect limited technical or interaction information necessary to operate these features, measure engagement, maintain aggregate counts, prevent abuse, and protect the integrity of the Service.

For example, we may use limited browser, device, network, cookie, or similar information to help prevent repeated or automated manipulation of a like or reaction feature.

We do not use these features to create detailed behavioral profiles of individual visitors.

3. How We Use Information

We may us information to:

  • operate and maintain the LiftConductor platform and websites; 

  • provide requested products and services; 

  • create and manage customer accounts; 

  • store and organize customer data; 

  • conduct analyses requested by customers; 

  • provide customer support; 

  • respond to inquiries and demonstration requests; 

  • operate LiftWorkshop; 

  • manage email subscriptions; 

  • receive and respond to comments, questions, and reflections; 

  • measure engagement with LiftWorkshop content; 

  • maintain the integrity of likes, reactions, and similar features; 

  • understand how our websites and services are used; 

  • improve functionality, usability, content, and performance; 

  • maintain security and system reliability; 

  • detect fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity; 

  • develop new features and capabilities; 

  • communicate about LiftConductor, LiftWorkshop, products, services, research, ideas, events, or other information we believe may be relevant to subscribers and customers; and 

  • comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights. 

4. Email Communications

Visitors may voluntarily provide an email address to receive communications from LiftWorkshop and LiftConductor.

Subscription information may be maintained in our customer relationship management and communications systems.

We may use this information to send communications concerning:

  • new LiftWorkshop content; 

  • LiftConductor news and developments; 

  • educational materials; 

  • research and insights; 

  • events; 

  • products or services; and 

  • other information we believe may be relevant to our audience. 

Marketing communications will provide a means to unsubscribe or otherwise manage applicable communication preferences.

Transactional, administrative, security, or service-related communications may not be subject to marketing opt-out preferences where those communications are necessary to provide the Service.

5. LiftWorkshop Reflections and Communications

LiftWorkshop invites readers to submit questions, comments, ideas, and reflections.

Information submitted through these communications may include your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

We may retain these communications for purposes including responding to you, understanding audience interests, improving LiftWorkshop, developing future content, and maintaining appropriate business records.

We will not publicly attribute or publish a private communication as your statement without appropriate permission.

If we would like to quote, publish, or otherwise identify you in connection with a submitted reflection, we will seek your permission before doing so.

6. Analytics and Website Technologies

We use analytics and website technologies to understand how visitors use our websites, evaluate performance, improve usability, and understand which content is useful to our audience.

These services may include:

Plausible Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and usage.

Plausible is designed as a privacy-focused analytics service and states that it does not use cookies, persistent identifiers, or cross-site tracking and does not collect personal data for its analytics service. 

Microsoft Clarity

We may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our websites and to improve website usability and performance.

Clarity may collect interaction information such as page views, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, browser and device information, and similar usage information. Clarity can also provide session-replay functionality. Microsoft states that privacy-sensitive fields are masked in session playback. 

Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with certain functionality. 

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain or communicate appropriate consent choices before enabling technologies requiring consent.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to understand how our websites appear and perform in Google search results and to identify technical or search-performance issues.

Other Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, server logs, or similar technologies when reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain sessions; 

  • remember preferences; 

  • provide security; 

  • prevent abuse; 

  • measure aggregate usage; and 

  • operate interactive website functionality. 

We do not use browsing information for invasive behavioral advertising.

7. Customer Relationship Management

Customers retain ownership of the data they provide to LiftConductor.

LiftConductor may process customer data as necessary to:

  • provide the Service; 

  • perform requested analyses; 

  • provide requested functionality; 

  • maintain system security and integrity; 

  • provide customer support; and 

  • comply with contractual or legal obligations. 

LiftConductor may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to understand and improve its products, services, methods, and operations, provided such information does not reasonably identify a customer, individual, or proprietary customer information.

We do not sell customer data.

We do not use proprietary customer data to compete with our customers or sell their proprietary business information to others.

8. Customer Data and Data Ownership

Customers retain ownership of the data they provide to LiftConductor.

LiftConductor may process customer data as necessary to:

  • provide the Service; 

  • perform requested analyses; 

  • provide requested functionality; 

  • maintain system security and integrity; 

  • provide customer support; and 

  • comply with contractual or legal obligations. 

LiftConductor may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to understand and improve its products, services, methods, and operations, provided such information does not reasonably identify a customer, individual, or proprietary customer information.

We do not sell customer data.

We do not use proprietary customer data to compete with our customers or sell their proprietary business information to others.

9. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to operate our business.

These may include providers supporting:

  • website hosting and infrastructure; 

  • analytics; 

  • customer relationship management; 

  • email delivery; 

  • cloud computing and storage; 

  • security; 

  • customer support; 

  • payment processing; 

  • professional services; and 

  • other business operations. 

These providers may process information on our behalf or in connection with services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information:

  • when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;

  • to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of LiftConductor, our customers, users, or others;

We do not sell personal information.

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes including:

  • website functionality;

  • abuse prevention; 

  • session management; 

  • preference management; 

  • analytics; and 

  • understanding website interactions. 

Some analytics technologies we use may operate without cookies, while others may use cookies or similar identifiers.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, we will provide appropriate mechanisms for visitors to make those choices.

You may also be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings.

  • maintaining customer relationships; 

  • maintaining subscription preferences; 

  • responding to communications; 

  • maintaining security and system integrity; 

  • resolving disputes; 

  • enforcing agreements; 

  • satisfying legal obligations; and 

  • maintaining legitimate business records. 

Retention periods may vary depending upon the nature of the information and the purpose for which it is processed.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

13. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption, logging, monitoring, backups, and other appropriate security measures.

Third-party service providers may maintain additional security controls applicable to information processed through their systems. For example, Pipedrive states that application connections use HTTPS encryption and provides account security controls including two-factor authentication. 

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • request access to personal information we maintain about you; 

  • request correction of inaccurate personal information; 

  • request deletion of eligible personal information; 

  • request information about how personal information is collected, used, or disclosed; 

  • object to or restrict certain processing; 

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; 

  • obtain certain personal information in a portable format; 

  • opt out of certain marketing communications; and 

  • exercise other rights provided by applicable law. 

We will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

15. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), where those laws apply.

These may include the right to:

  • know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected; 

  • know the purposes for which personal information is collected or used; 

  • know categories of sources from which information is collected; 

  • know categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed; 

  • request deletion; 

  • request correction; 

  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; 

  • limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and 

  • receive equal service and treatment when exercising privacy rights. 

California's Attorney General describes these as among the principal rights provided under the CCPA. 

LiftConductor does not sell personal information.

If our practices change in a manner that creates additional obligations under applicable California law, we will update this Policy and provide any required mechanisms for exercising those rights.

16. International Visitors

Our websites may be accessible to visitors outside the United States.

If you access our services from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where LiftConductor or its service providers operate.

Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other jurisdictions may have additional rights regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or complaints to an appropriate supervisory authority.

Certain website technologies may operate differently depending upon visitor location and consent preferences. Microsoft, for example, requires consent signals for full Clarity functionality for visitors from the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. 


17. Children's Privacy

LiftConductor and LiftWorkshop are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed to children.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

18. Third-Party Websites and Sharing

Our websites may contain links to third-party websites or allow visitors to share LiftWorkshop or LiftConductor content through external services.

Selecting a sharing link may direct you to a third-party service. That service's collection and use of information is governed by its own privacy practices and not this Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technologies, business practices, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy.

If changes materially affect how we use personal information, we may provide additional notice when appropriate or required by law.
